Elin Jones: I call the Assembly to order.
Elin Jones: Before we begin today, I should like to make a statement. I have received a number of complaints regarding language used in the Chamber last week by the leader of the UKIP group. Having reviewed the Record, I have no...
Elin Jones: At this point, I don’t want to rerun last week’s contribution, so I think it would be better, in your own interest, to draw your remarks to a close now and for us to move on to the business at hand today.
Elin Jones: I am about to chill the spontaneity of debate, and move on to next business. So, thank you for your contribution, and I now move on to First Minister’s questions.
Elin Jones: And I ask Sian Gwenllian to ask the first question in the fifth Assembly.
Elin Jones: I now call on the party leaders to question the First Minister and, first of all, the leader of the opposition, Leanne Wood.
Elin Jones: The leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Andrew R.T. Davies.
Elin Jones: Leader of the UKIP group, Neil Hamilton.
Elin Jones: Thank you, First Minister.
Elin Jones: I have accepted an urgent question under Standing Order 12.66 and I call on Angela Burns to ask the urgent question.
Elin Jones: Thank you.
Elin Jones: Statement by the First Minister on Cabinet appointments. And I call on the First Minister, Carwyn Jones.
Elin Jones: Thank you, First Minister.
Elin Jones: The next item is the motion to appoint members of the Business Committee, and I call Jane Hutt to formally move the motion.
Elin Jones: The proposal is we agree the motion to appoint members to the Business Committee. Does any Member object? I see that there are no objections, and therefore the motion is agreed in accordance with Standing Order 12.36.
Elin Jones: The motion without notice to bring forward First Minister’s questions in the next Plenary is the next item, and I intend to call that meeting at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday 8 June. I call on Jane Hutt to formally move the motion.
Elin Jones: The proposal is that we agree the motion. Does any Member object? The motion is therefore agreed in accordance with Standing Order 12.36.
Elin Jones: That brings today’s proceedings to a close.
Elin Jones: I call the National Assembly to order.
Elin Jones: Item 1 is questions to the First Minister, and the first question, Nick Ramsay.
