Elin Jones: We'll move then to amendment 2, tabled in the name of Lesley Griffiths. Open the vote. Close the vote. In favour 24, no abstentions, 21 against, and therefore amendment 2 is agreed.
Elin Jones: That brings us to voting time. The first vote this afternoon is on item 6, the Plaid Cymru debate on industrial relations. I call for a vote on the motion without amendment, tabled in the name of Siân Gwenllian. Open the vote. In favour four, no abstentions—no, I do apologise. In favour 10, no abstentions, 35 against. Therefore, the unamended motion was not agreed.
Elin Jones: The proposal is to agree the motion without amendment. Does any Member object? [Objection.] There is an objection, and I will therefore defer voting until voting time.
Elin Jones: That brings us to voting time. Unless three Members wish for the bell to be rung, we will move immediately to the vote. I see that three Members have indicated that they wish the bell to be rung, so the bell will be rung and voting will happen in five minutes' time.
Elin Jones: The proposal is to agree the motion without amendment. Does any Member object? [Objection.] There are objections, and we will therefore defer voting under this item until voting time.
Elin Jones: The next item is item 7, the Welsh Conservatives debate on the Welsh language. I call on Tom Giffard to move the motion.
Elin Jones: Luke Fletcher to reply to the debate.
Elin Jones: The Deputy Minister for Social Partnership now. Hannah Blythyn.
Elin Jones: I call on the Deputy Minister for Social Partnership to formally move amendment 2.
Elin Jones: Thank you. Peredur Owen Griffiths.
Elin Jones: I have selected the two amendments to the motion, and, if amendment 1 is agreed, amendment 2 will be deselected. I call on Joel James to move amendment 1. Joel James.
Elin Jones: The next item, therefore, is the Plaid Cymru debate on industrial relations, and I call on Luke Fletcher to move the motion. Luke Fletcher.
Elin Jones: Thank you, Sarah Murphy, for that contribution.
Elin Jones: Fascinated as I am—[Laughter.]—by the new processing of leeks plant, this is a 90-second statement.
Elin Jones: And I'm sure that you'll carry on your campaigning for Welsh leeks into the future. Thank you, Jenny Rathbone, for that cause. Sarah Murphy.
Elin Jones: Thank you, Minister, for those answers. The next item is the 90-second statements, and the first statement today is from Jenny Rathbone.
Elin Jones: I thank the Minister. The next question is to be answered by the Minister for Health and Social Services and to be asked by Adam Price.
Elin Jones: You asked two questions there, and I can answer one of them, but I'll have to write to you with the answer to the other. Elin Jones: The Commission's key performance indicators were reviewed at the beginning of the sixth Senedd. The key performance indicator data for the current year, namely April 2022 to March 2023, is currently being collected, and will be published in the annual report and accounts for 2022-23 in the summer.
Elin Jones: Yes, I do agree that it's important in terms of the health of our democracy that people who elect us here to the Senedd are familiar with our work and are familiar with the Senedd more generally.
