(Translated) What work is the Welsh Government doing to ensure cross-border collaboration on planning between local authorities?

Cross-border collaboration is an important feature of planning at every level—national, regional and local. I am having discussions on the national development framework with colleagues in Ireland and adjacent English regions, while local planning authorities should involve neighbouring authorities in the preparation of local development plans.

(Translated) Will the Cabinet Secretary make a statement on Natural Resources Wales's recommendations for new byelaws on catch control, which have been submitted to the Welsh Government for approval?

Natural Resources Wales analysed the responses to the public consultation for proposed changes to byelaws for catch and release for salmon and sea trout. The findings were presented to the NRW Board on 18 January. They have not yet submitted their proposals. Until that time I cannot comment.
