This Government is making record investment in housing of £1.7 billion. This includes providing new affordable homes for older people, bringing up the quality of existing homes and supporting accommodation solutions to people’s health and social care needs through new capital investment in the integrated care fund.
Our all-Wales BAME engagement programme has reached out to Yemeni communities and will continue to engage with those affected by this crisis. EYST will be holding an event in Butetown in January, where people from Yemeni communities can discuss the impacts on them of the crisis in Yemen.
The road safety framework for Wales sets out the actions we and our partners are currently taking to improve road safety in Wales. We are making good progress to achieve the targets set out in the framework and to ensure our roads and streets are safe and accessible for all.
The process of awarding the new Wales and borders rail service contract, that became operational on the 14 October 2018, was outlined in the Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Transport's written statement on 4 June.
We continue to support businesses across Wales through our range of targeted rates relief schemes. We are providing £210 million of relief this year, supporting more than three quarters of Welsh ratepayers. We published our plans for the development of non‑domestic rates in October.
