Actions to review speed limits and use of the Welsh Government’s road safety capital grant scheme are amongst the steps being taken to improve the road safety in the Member’s constituency.
We published an updated version of our national transport finance plan in February 2019, detailing our transport priorities, including active travel measures, local bus services, investments in our strategic road network and delivering the Wales and borders franchise.
We are working closely with partners to develop a long-term approach to economic challenges in the Ebbw Vale area. In this period of the programme, our focus is squarely on investing in infrastructure and addressing land and property issues to provide the modern industrial units that will attract new businesses.
