Part of Questions to the Deputy Minister and Chief Whip – in the Senedd at 2:48 pm on 16 July 2019.
Thank you, Deputy Minister. I was interested recently to read Oxfam's supermarket scorecard. That campaign analyses how well supermarkets promote human rights within their food chain. The picture is very mixed, with, for example, good progress from Aldi, contrasting with other chains that worryingly received no score at all for ensuring that women workers are treated fairly and equally. How is the Welsh Government working with employers to ensure that human rights are protected not just here in Wales, but throughout supply chains?
