I don't disagree with a lot of your analysis there, but I would like to make the point that 40 years ago, when I lived in London, I used to go out Wednesday night and Saturday night for about three years with various organisations working with homeless people on the streets of London. They were there then, they are there now, and that's the real shame. It's not a consequence of the last decade; it is a consequence of our society not dealing with a deep-rooted problem that's been in existence for the 40 years that I used to work with them.
