We started today by talking about local government, and I would just like to place on record my very heartfelt thanks to Torfaen council—both councillors and officers—because they have been absolutely outstanding during this pandemic and I really do take my hat off to them.

I had wanted to raise the issue of recovery that Delyth Jewell referred to, specifically in relation to the role that has been set out for local government with contact tracing et cetera. I would just like to take this opportunity to ask you for a very firm assurance that you will be involving local government in all those discussions at the very earliest possible stage now. I'm acutely conscious of the pressure that they've been under, and I think it’s vital that whatever is developed is co-produced with them.
