(Translated) Will the First Minister make a statement regarding the supply and roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccine in South Wales West?

Over 14,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine will be supplied to South Wales West this week. They will be delivered from five main vaccine centres and 36 GP practices. By the start of next week, a further 23 practices will be able to order and deploy the vaccines.

We recognise the pandemic is having the greatest impact on some of our most vulnerable and disadvantaged learners. That is why we continue to provide additional investment to ensure all learners have equal access to an education whatever their background or circumstances.

(Translated) What support is the Welsh Government providing to self-catering businesses during the pandemic?

A further £450 million is being made available through the economic resilience fund to support businesses affected by the current changes to the regulations. This includes a £180 million specific fund targeted at hospitality and tourism businesses.  Self-catering businesses will be eligible for this additional funding provided they meet the necessary criteria.

(Translated) What plans are in place to provide additional career advice to Welsh graduates in response to the labour market contraction caused by the COVID-19 pandemic?

An additional £1.5 million has been provided to HEFCW to support students who graduate during the pandemic to start their careers. This will complement the existing ESF-funded GO Wales programme, which supports young HE students to secure quality work experience. This funding builds upon the additional £27 million provided to universities to mitigate the impact of the pandemic and £10 million to support student health and well-being.

(Translated) How many nursery and primary school staff and pupils in Bridgend have tested positive for COVID-19 since 14 December 2020?

For the period 16 December-6 January, data provided by Public Health Wales shows that, in Bridgend, there were 41 confirmed cases amongst pupils in primary school and 60 confirmed cases amongst primary school staff. Seventeen childcare and play settings in Bridgend have informed Care Inspectorate Wales of confirmed cases.
