I held discussions with officials on the safe disposal of PPE and associated waste when I had responsibility for waste. This has now moved to the Minister for Environment, Energy and Rural Affairs. Guidance on management of PPE waste is provided by Public Health Wales. Regular meetings are held between Ministers and local authority leaders on a range of COVID-related issues.
