QNR – in the Senedd on 23 February 2021.
Active planning is underway for further financial support to businesses, across Wales, who are impacted by the restrictions. The restrictions business fund has so far seen almost 4,000 businesses in Pembrokeshire receive over £13 million.
£3.9 million has been provided to RCT in emergency funding for repair works and to fund 27 flood alleviation projects. This will reduce flood risk for over 1,500 properties and support the provision of flood gates in Rhondda.
The Welsh Government provides substantial assistance to help farm businesses improve their financial and environmental performance. The proposed new sustainable farming scheme will help support Welsh farmers to thrive, produce sustainable food and contribute to the fight against the climate emergency.
On 19 February, I announced the outcome of the three-weekly review of the restrictions. We published an update to our 'Coronavirus control plan: alert levels in Wales' document on the same day. The update sets out the careful and step-by-step approach we will adopt to easing COVID-19 restrictions in Wales.
