Through Sport Wales, we are investing in a range of initiatives to achieve our common goal of greater participation in sport and physical activity. This includes significant capital investment in modern, accessible and attractive facilities that encourage people of all ages and abilities to engage in sport and physical activity.
The Welsh Government is committed to ensuring there is equity of access to health and care services that are safe, sustainable and deliver the best possible clinical outcomes for communities across all parts of Wales.
We will create a new national park for Wales—the first in over 50 years. National park status brings many benefits for agricultural communities, biodiversity and sustainable tourism. Engagements with communities about protecting and enhancing the special qualities of the area will be an important part of delivering this commitment.
The priority for health services in west Wales is the continued provision of essential and key services alongside caring for patients affected by COVID-19. The service works hard to restore the delivery of wider, more routine, services as it becomes safe to do so.
