The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (Wales) Regulations 2020 and the subsequent coronavirus restrictions regulations, including the No. 5 regulations, have been made in exercise of powers set out in Part 2A of the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984, the principal powers being those in section 45C.
