The UK Government has committed the greatest act of levelling down by cutting the £20 universal credit uplift, condemning hundreds of thousands of hard-working families to life on the poverty line. We shall not abandon families in Wales. Our discretionary assistance fund will help them keep their homes warm and children fed.
