Care navigation enables better signposting of people to a wide range of local services and improves access to GP appointments. Staff across the Caerphilly clusters are able, for example, to link patients to the Direct Access Physiotherapy service, avoiding the need for a GP appointment.
This financial year the Welsh Government is investing £541,700 in flood projects in Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire. This includes projects at various stages, from business case development to maintenance and construction. We are taking a whole system approach to supporting the mental health and well-being of our children and young people, with a focus on prevention and early intervention, whilst also ensuring specialist services are available when required.
