You just mentioned that ethnic minorities are going to be the ones that are most affected by this voter ID request. That's actually not backed up by the statistics provided by the Electoral Commission. They suggest that 99 per cent of people from ethnic minorities have voter identification—have identification that would be suitable as voter ID documents— compared to 98 per cent of the general population.
