Look, whenever a trade deal is negotiated, there are always going to be competing interests within each nation that is doing the negotiations, both pros and cons. What the UK Government has to do is to try to get the best possible deal for the United Kingdom as a whole, as I would expect the Welsh Government would try to do if it was having to negotiate—it would try to get the best deal for Wales as a whole, and that may be of advantage to some parts to Wales and a disadvantage to others. I think the reality is that this is a trade deal that is a good trade deal, which we should all be supporting in the interests of the whole of the UK.
