The circumstances behind the petition that we are discussing today have been extremely moving for all the members of the committee. The petition was submitted by the family of Peter Baldwin. Peter, who was 13 and from Cardiff, tragically died in January 2015 from the effects of undiagnosed type 1 diabetes.
