We believe that the best way to get people through these difficult times, and to combat inflation, is through economic growth as well as direct support. It's not about the trickle-down economics, it's about boosting the supply side performance of our economy by reducing the tax burden on businesses and on people. It's about reforming the economy to improve productivity, creating the conditions for investment that creates jobs, drives wages and delivers the infrastructure and the services that the UK needs. And of course, the Welsh Government, as it normally does, is pushing the doom and gloom narrative.
